[DS] Driver Seat X-MAS Races
Hello, the [DS] team presents the events for x-mas 2023. It will be 2 separate races this year.
We will have one race with a bike, another with a car. You may do just one or both of them.
One will be with the easy going YAHAMA CT125 DR bike , the other with the famous ERESO car.
Both races will be just 1 lap on our custom layout. There will be a payout for each race
and finally an extra payout for the results combined out of both, just using the finishing #.
If you finish race 1 at place 5 and race 2 at place 7 we would add up to 12 for the total #.
If 2 drivers will end up at the same # we will look at the times for both races and the faster
one will be ranked better. The races will not be crash races, still some contacts are allowed.
It will be up to yourself to decide how risky you are planning to go. There are some pitstops
placed around the lap, if really needed you may use 3 resets by doing !tow. The bikes can use !up
if fallen down, !turn to turn around. Even any ° can be used with the !turn command, i.e !turn 90.
Each !tow used will add some time to your final laptime, so avoid using those if possible.

The prize money will be paid out in TC (TC citydriving) cash that can be exchanged to real money easy.
Here are the planned payouts by now: Every driver that finished the race will get 2500 of TC cash.

1. place: 55555 € TC cash (or real 5€ per paypal)
2. place: 44444 € TC cash (or real 4€ per paypal)
3. place: 33333 € TC cash (or real 3€ per paypal)
4. place: 22222 € TC cash (or real 2€ per paypal)
5. place: 11111 € TC cash (or real 1€ per paypal)
For the combined rankings we will do the same payouts again. The track, bike and car are already on our
[DS] Driver Seat Events server for practising and to find out if you like this at all.
It would be nice to post in this thread if you plan to take part, tell us which race then.
This will help us to get an idea of how many drivers we may expect for the races.

Big Bike Event For Christmas
After patch D46 bikes ride so nice, we decided to get them back to the Trails & RollerCoaster.
As we are going towards christmas already there will be an event only for bikes on [DS] Trail Easy.
20 bikes are available at the trails and RoCO, get 1500.- TC cash for each bike you finished.
If you finish all 20 bikes you get an extra payment of 20.000.- , resulting in a total payout of 50.000.- TC cash.
The event starts right now and ends at midnight on the 24th of december.
If you will take part with at least one bike let us know by doing a post in this thread.
After the event ended, look at top times, click bikes only beside filter. Then click my times and it
will show only your bike times. Do a screenshot and upload it here in the thread. If your LFS account

some offroad parts that dont go really well with road super or slicks.

Hello, what to do to run the [DS] servers at D50 ? As most people already switched to D50 patch

1648 KG ? Well, that is way to low, or ? What I found is:

I know it has this in real life and its fun to drive a bit around.
But for a more serious use like a race it would help to have it more

Hard to find what I would like to see as an option, but just use a regular small wheel and tyre
from a small car. Nothing really fat of course, its a 100/ at the moment. So add or make it
a 145 or 155 max. Not a tyre from a motorbike, a flat one please. Trying to give a visual example

I really like this little Roadster. Its so much fun, not even that slow.
Is there any chance to have a wider rear wheel for more stability and

Hello, I really like this Kart as its not to powerful and has its own feeling. 
I added it to my [DS] servers and it works not really good as I run into a problem.
Even the current topspeed could be just ok, with only one gear it kills the clutch
on a run of more than one hour easy. Not even asking for more power, I would of course
take 2 or 3 more hp. But what would really help is to have 2 gears just, 1st to
accelerate and 2nd for topspeed. I would be happy to have this choice, is it may be
possible as a config ? If you cannot imagine where the problem is, just join [DS] Trail Easy
and it should give you an idea. Thanks in advance anyways, greetings P V L.

I know its not the best time for some of us. On the other hand its a day where almost nobody has to work.
I couldnt find a better time to do it in the short time. Still, I wanted to offer something for Christmas at least.
We will see how many people may join. If not enough for a good race I will delay it to a better time.
For now, its the rumble lap loaded and awaiting the competitors.
This is a "all allowed race", so do whatever you think is getting you over the line first.
We run a basic insim even, means you can use the well known !tow whenever you need it.
It will add 10 seconds for each use on this lap. To make it even more interesting for slower drivers,
the restart is set to reverse finish. Join us and have fun, P V L

on the 25th of december 2022. The car to use will be the SEDAN ( C7335D ). We will go for 25 laps,
estimated race duration is 3 hours +. The car offers great fun even it is not that fast,
beside that the track is a bit tricky and this way I hope even slower drivers can finish at
a good position. The server is open already, track & car are set. For better practise we have
reset on at the moment, it will of course be off during the race.
Even we do not need to signup, it would be nice if those taking part for sure would do a short
post on this thread. No information needed , just the LFS account is enough then. I am looking
forward to this, hopefully we get some people to join. Start your engines, join the track and

Those are going to happen on different layouts like Rumble Race,
Race of Champions or other fun layouts.
The main event of christmas will be a 3 hours + endurance
race on one of my old lyts, a bit updated to have it more interesting.
Its a very custom layout on Westhill, the car to use will be the SEDAN.
The exact date and time will be announced as soon as its set.
For now we can tell it will be 25 laps and you may practise to get
used to both the track and the car during the next days.
So, start your engines, enjoy the ride.
Best luck to all when going to or even over the limits.
